Ah, plant based proteins! In the recent vernacular, eating plant forward is recommended not just for human health but the health of the planet. And beans are where the critical protein building blocks called amino acids are, and they provide nutty rich flavors with little to no fat, to fats that are superior, nutritionally speaking. In this section you’ll find our bean cakes that we use whenever we need to substitute for the vegetarians who come to a dinner when meat is served. Bean cakes are very adaptable to almost any flavor profile we are working with. For example if we do an Andalusian pepper rub on a beef roast, we simply use Andalusian flavors in the bean cake and the substitution fits nicely with the rest of the foods on the plate.
