This one is borrowed from Cooks.com. To us it tastes more like a sour cream ice cream, so we may add more zest and juice and less milk to our next batch.
1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice (fresh)
- 12 ounces evaporated milk
- 3 cups of whole milk
Combine sugar and lemon juice on low speed of mixer; slowly add in the milks. Churn according to your ice cream machine manufacturer’s directions.
