YOGURT SAUCE, GARLIKY LEMON
- 1 cup whole milk yogurt
- 1 Tablespoon cured lemon, rinsed and minced
- 2 teaspoons fresh garlic, pasted
- 1/4 cup half and half, only for proper consistency. (if using lemon juice, it is not typically needed)
Make preserved lemon, if you don’t have it on hand. It takes 2 days to be ready. If you do not have time to wait to cure the fresh lemon, use 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice and 1/4 teaspoon salt,
Combine all ingredients except half and half cream in a medium bowl, whisking to combine: adjust to desired consistency with cream; hold for service.
